CCUB 1061 ( Usrah Budi )

Bismillahirahmanirahim.
Hi everyone. Nice to meet you. Today I would like to share a story about my " Usrah Budi ".
I take my usrah budi during my short semester (semester 3, 2020/2021). For me, why should I waste time alone instead of taking some courses that can fill my vacation time. There are some students who donโt want to take a short semester because they want a long break and some even use this time for them to find part-time work until the actual new semester starts. I have also thought of such a thing but thinking about the worsening situation of COVID-19 in Malaysia and my desire to spend 4 years at IIUM, that is why I took this short semester.
Okay, back to our usrah budi. I' taking usrah budi section 203. This usrah budi was lead by the friendly facilitator, Sr. Nik Nurin Aliya Syakila binti Mazlan. There are 26 students in this usrah budi. For the first time I got my night class. This usrah budi was started at 9:15 pm until 10:15 pm. For short semester, the courses will be held only for two days, so for this usrah budi only held on Monday (synchronous) and Wednesday (asynchronous). During synchronous class, we will used Google Meet as our virtual platform of study, while during asynchronous class, Sr. Nurin only give some exercises or quizzes or tasks to be done as it recall from the previous classes.
Collaboration:
This is our poster that should be done together with my friends as this is group work. It's nice right? What I want to share here is this poster is all about adab towards parents. If you click to the poster, you can read about the meaning of adab towards our parents, hukum towards parents, Al-Quran verse regarding obey to parents, and the hikmah when we obey to them. Through this poster, I had learn about teamwork among us besides know about adab towards parents. Other than that, I can learn also how to make a beautiful poster that can attracts people to read it.
Wish:
1. This class will be more fun if we can make it face to face because we can do some activities together besides just looking the laptop and give some opinion through there.
2. Even though this usrah just held in two days per week, but for me this class still okay and fun because Sr. Nurin will give some quizzes that we will not get bored with this class.
3. Sr. Nurin very a polite and humble person, because every synchronous class, at the end of her class, she will always share some dua' that we can practice it everyday and sometimes song that can we think about Islam. I think that is a good attitude that we should to follow.
That's all from me. I hope whoever read this will be okay and everything gonna be fine soon. We together can handle this pandemic and may Allah ease everything step that we took.
