Bismillahirahmannirahim.
Hi hi hi!
Welcome back to my channel *eceyh*. Today, I would to share about the beautiful surah and the story or interpretation behind it.
Surah Al-Ma'un (The Small Kindness)بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِاَرَءَيْتَ الَّذِيْ يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّيْنِۗفَذٰلِكَ الَّذِيْ يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيْمَۙوَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلٰى طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِيْنِۗفَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُصَلِّيْنَۙالَّذِيْنَ هُمْ عَنْ صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُوْنَۙالَّذِيْنَ هُمْ يُرَاۤءُوْنَۙوَيَمْنَعُوْنَ الْمَاعُوْنَ ࣖHave you seen the one who denies the Recompense? (1) For that is the one who drives away the orphan (2) And does not encourage the feeding of the poor (3) So woe to those who pray (4) [But] who are heedless of their prayer1 - (5) Those who make show [of their deeds] (6) And withhold [simple] assistance. (7)
This is Surah Al-Ma'un. You can read it and of course, you will get the rewards from Allah swt. What I want to highlight is my reflection regarding this surah and the video that the sis shared with us. But, before that, I like to share this kind of video that our facilitator shared with us in the class.
This video tells us about behind this surah itself. This surah tells us about two kinds of people in this world; one always performs 5 obligatory prayers but is not sincere to do it, and one who denies the recompenses. At first, we can say that those people are lying against religion. They make the crimes between Allah swt and the people.
What I want to share here is my reflection on this surah. For me, just be good to others and be good to Allah swt too. We will get the soft heart as mentioned in this video. If we got the recompenses or "rezeki", just share to others that need even just a little of it. Some people say that "everything that we gain in this world doesn't mean that we 100% own it, somehow it belongs to others too". That's why Prophet Muhammad saw said that the three best things to leave behind after death; first, continuous charity, second, a knowledge from which some benefit may be obtained, third, a virtuous son who make dua (pray, supplicate) on his behalf.". May Allah rewards all of us the Paradise. Regarding the relationship to Allah swt, for me, if we make something about religion such as reciting the Al-Quran, praying, charity, etc, no need to upload to social media or tell others. Just let it between Allah swt and us only. What is our intention for those posts? Just want the like? The compliments? When we perform all those things, what actually our aims is the Paradise, the rewards from Allah swt. So, no need to get others' attention for it.
That's all from me. Hehe. Tata!
